Today on the podcast, I sync up with Israeli 5x National Champion Cyclist and Tokyo 2020 Olympian, Omer Shapira & her husband Israeli Pro Cyclist on Israeli Premier Tech team. We are not talking about cycling but about Israel and the Hamas attack and how they found their way to safety. Omer was on the Marni On The Move podcast Episode 181 in July 2021 and I wanted to check in, see how her and her family were doing, that they were safe, and hear first hand from them being on the ground in Israel. I remembered that Omer lived near the Gaza Strip. Turns out her family lives 7K  away from where Hamas attacked, kidnapped and massacred Israeli and American citizens.  Tune in to learn more and hear their story.
