When Michael Gazaleh started City Running Tours in 2005, his sole goal was to share his two greatest passions with the world—running and New York City. He had no idea that the company would expand to include branches in 14 cities across the US and Canada and help ignite the spark for the global running tourism boom.

On this episode, Michael talks entrepreneurship through his early career as a chiropractor, and how the concept of City Running Tours was born. He talks about building the company from the ground up—fueled by his love of sharing personal stories of running through the city with people from all different backgrounds and fitness levels.

We chat about the challenges presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, and how City Running Tours has shifted toward a greater online presence in order to keep providing clients with the best content from the running and tourism worlds.
