We chat aboout where the idea for The Canvas and The Canvas 3.0 began, his high school experience at The Island School where he went from Brooklyn to The Bahamas, for the opportunity to be immersed in a one hundred day experiential semester school on the island of Eleuthera in The Bahamas and how this experienced shaped his vision for life and business. He shares some of his early entreprenurial experiences and innovations which were the launching pad for his global business. Devin shares how he and his team recognized a need amongst physical vacant spaces in the city for tenants and talent with a need for exposure and brought the two together. The Canvas 3.0 was born. With locations in NYC in the Westfield World Trade Center and The Seaport, The Canvas carries more than 200 independent ethical brands from around the world all focused on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Devin sheds light on additional locations past and future for The Canvas global spaces dedicated to art, culture, fashion and innovation. And of course, we chat about the exercise and wellness fueling Devin for success and keeping him on top of his game.
